Where would Democrats be without their monopoly on minorities and young adults? How would they make up for it? Would they have been replaced by another party or collection of other movements and groups?

Where would Republican be without  their domination of evangelical and rural whites? How would they make up for it? Would they have been replaced by another party or collection of other movements and groups?

Maps, of course.

Maybe politics would be like they were between WW2 and the counter culture. A more Keynesian and hawkish Government with fewer civil rights/liberties with Democrats doing well in the south and urban areas and the Republicans doing well in rural and wealthier areas. However, it wouldn't be like this today and would probably be something completely different.
