Option 1, we need more revenue.
Currently, only certain counties of Nevada has legalized them.

Yes, of course, and when they figure how to tax them and how much they can get taxing them, they'll think about legalization.

Yes (feminist).

It's much, much better that prostitution be regulated and on the books in brothels than unregulated on street corners and back alleys.

Yes. Banning them doesn't solve any problems.

Seriously, I fail to see a reason to oppose prostitution legalization.

It would be a much more positive experience for everyone involved.

That's true as well.

When a prostitute is a victim of violence she wouldn't be intimidated to go to the police. And johns wouldn't be so inclined to get violent anymore.

Why would it being legal/regulated/taxed mean guys wouldn't try to attack prostitutes?

Put shortly: Feminism, being a radical critique of the power relations inherent to sexuality within a patriarchal society, can only abhor the idea of a state-sanctioned commodification of (almost exclusively female) bodies.

God no! I mean, prostitution is frankly repellent, unchristian, and, to me anyway, the government has no place sanctioning this type of commerce with regulation. Ban it, and hope to ensnare was many of the pimps, prostitutes and whoremongers as possible within the thicket of the law.

Yes, and I wouldn't support taxing them.

That sounds like an argument for disapproving and/or refusing to frequent brothels, not grounds for criminalizing them. How is the criminalization of sex work beneficial to women in any way?

Isn't all wage labor effectively commodifying your body?  By the same logic you could argue that women shouldn't be allowed to have any job so we men can protect them from the patriarchal labor market.

Let's just say I fail to see anyone who benefits from criminalization.
