Apparently, there's a lot of "Mitt in 2016" talk, so...

1. Would you like to see Romney running again in 2016?
2. Would you support him in the primaries?

I would like to see him run again and would support him, but I would be very surprised if he did run, especially if Jeb or Christie runs.

Same here.  I loved Mitt, but we can't run the same guy who lost 4 years ago ... We're not the 1950s Dems here...

Not a Mitt supporter, but the idea had some appeal when I first heard about it. Then I remembered why exactly I opposed Romney in the first place.

1. No
2. Not unless his only two primary challengers are Bush and Christie.

Not unless significantly more candidates than expected decide against running.

I voted for Romney in 2012 mostly out of disgust for Obama and Obamacare as I was an Obama supporter in 2008. Also us both being Mormon and him being the first Mormon nominee for a major party did have something to do with it but not as much as people think. I'm not a fan of how Romney's economic policies effect the poor and think he cares about the super-rich too much. I still voted for him, however.

I know for a fact that the Republicans will not under any circumstances nominate Romney again in 2016. That being said if the crazy occasion they do, I would only vote for him depending on who the Democrats put up. If the Democrats put up a left-winger like Elizabeth Warren or O'Malley than I would vote Romney. However if they put up someone more moderate then I won't vote Romney. If it's Hillary vs. Romney, I'd probably vote neither as I dislike the Clintons a lot an don't want another Clinton in the White House.

Maybe to both.

He did better than the majority of Republican candidates for statewide office, so he seems like the type of guy who would win in a neutral environment (Obama had the benefit of the incumbency, a recovering economy and Hurricane Sandy). And I do think he would be a good President.

He would also have a better understanding of the process of running for President than anyone else.

However, he made serious errors in terms of campaign infrastructure. And Obama had a massive lead on the polling question of which candidate cared for people like them (It was like 85%.)

There is no way Romney runs for the Republican nomination in 2016.

In the extremely unlikely event he does, the Republicans will not nominate him.

I still believe he would have made a great President, however, his time has passed.

1. No I don't think it is his time anymore or that he has the appeal to the younger Republicans who want a more Libertarian flavor in a 2016 candidate.

2. Yes because not off the deep end, yet still Conservative Republican who understands the immigration issue enough to oppose amnesty but still support legal immigration is superior to most 2016 contenders and thus would be stupid to pass up on.
