If he did caucus with Republicans, I wonder how he'd vote. I'd assume he'd ideologically migrate to the right and vote similarly to Collins, but you never know.

Also, I think it's possible he was just honestly answering a question with no ulterior motive, but I wonder if either a)Democrats recently did something to piss him off (somehow I don't think pay equity would be the reason), and/or b)this is some kind of power play (maybe for better committee assignments?).

King is literally a centrist, so this probably make him the most left-wing member of the Republican Party.
