Regardless of game 7, that is one mighty heroic effort by the Rangers.

Amen.  Right now half of Pittsburgh wants to jump off bridges and the other half of the fan base is simply pissed at their lackluster play.

I won't bitch at all if the Rangers take game 7, because they will have earned it.

Two goals in as many games needs to change.

Really awful for the Bruins. After Lucic or whoever it was missed the wide open net, I knew it was over. So if they lose game 7 and the Pens lose game 7, I'm not gonna care, although I'll probably watch the finals. Maybe I'll get one of those game sevens. Tongue

Between racist tweets and ^ this series sure exemplifies classiness! What's the over-under on how many cars the Montreal Police will lose on Thursday night?

Val-d'Or has a player from Pleasanton, California. That's right near where I'm from. I wonder how he likes it there.

Skyler Spiller isn't playing for Val-d'Or anymore. He was here last season, but not this year. He is playing for Dallas Snipers in the Western States Hockey League (a junior A league) this year.

He was 20 years old, teams are allowed only three 20 years old players. We kept 3 others.

RIP Dan Bylsma.  Of course he'll have another job in 5 minutes, but........waiting for the announcement.

Particularly inexcusable collapse by Pitt. The NYR played with more heart, plain and simple, despite the talent that the Pens have. That's a terrible reality for Pitt.

Lundquist was exceptional, though.

Now, I would love a Boston vs. NYR at the ECF.

Congrats! When Ottawa won the Memorial Cup in 1999 (in Ottawa no less), I was there and it was awesome. We beat Calgary in Overtime. Couldn't have asked for a better event. (We also had to beat the team that had eliminated us in the OHL playoffs in the semi-final; we got to play in the event as hosts)

Tortorella, of all people, got another job after being fired by Rangers. So, I don't see why Bylsma shouldn't find one.

This playoff season has been exceptional for the NHL up to this point.  I've heard people all over the Interwebs and IRL talking about how the hockey games have been just destroying their NBA parallels.  Whoever comes out of the SoCal Series and plays the Hawks will put on a great series, and NYR/MTL should be just fantastic (USA vs. Canada, Original 6, two teams that can play a speed game, spectacular goaltending, etc.)

Yeah, I haven't watched any of the NBA playoffs. Just hard to get into, I guess.

I think Blackhawks vs. Rangers looks most likely, and that would be an incredible finals, I have to admit.
