Terry Branstad for pretty much all of it. That guy has some staying power.

I take it when he came back in 2010, you had no idea how to feel. Like a Dark Knight Rises feel, almost is what I would have.

Nah, I won't be voting for Quinn the pension thief. Assuming that I get registered in time to vote, I'll be voting for the Green Party nominee, Scott Summers.

I figured, but a vote for Green is one less vote to stop Scott Walker Lite from getting into the Governor's Mansion.

Mario Cuomo, George Pataki, Eliot Spitzer, David Paterson and Andrew Cuomo (and soon, Kathy Hochul).

Even if you include Hochul, Mario Cuomo's the best out of this group, which says more about the quality of New York Governors since he lost to Pataki than anything else.

This is a simplification, since a more detailed list would be more complicated and where I actually live has not always been obvious:

1994–1999: Pete Wilson
1999–2003: Gray Davis
2003–2011: Arnold Schwarzenegger
2011–2012: Jerry Brown
2012–2015: Martin O'Malley
2015–2016: Larry Hogan
2016–2017: Nathan Deal
2017–2018: Terry McAuliffe
2018: Ralph Northam
2018–2019: Nathan Deal
2019–2020: Brian Kemp
2020–present: Gavin Newsom

List all of the governors who you've lived under.  Foreign posters can list the executives or heads of government in their subnational divisions (such as premiers in Canadian provinces).

My list:

1987-1989, IA:  Terry Brandstad (R)
1989-1993, SD:  George Mickelson (R)
1993-1995, SD:  Walter Dale Miller (R)
1995-2003, SD:  Bill Janklow (R)
2003-2011, SD:  Mike Rounds (R)
2011-2019, SD:  Dennis Daugaard (R)
2019-       , SD:  Kristi Noem (R)

My updated OP from 7 years ago.
