Nothing official, but I do generally avoid Walmart and Chik-Fil-A. I wouldn't go to Hobby Lobby, either.

I echo angus' question. I've been to places where they'd rough you up for even airing a negative thought about these stores.

It's Simfan.  They probably gave their stock boys a raise.

Basically this.  Walmart is an absolute last resort thing for me.

I swore then off in 2006 and have no bought one thing.  Target is just as useful as a last resort.

When this question was first asked, I would have said yes, but I would have been hard pressed to give a specific example.  But a thought occurred to me yesterday, when I was at the grocery store.

For no particular reason other than boredom, I tend to bounce between a handful of grocery stores.  During the Christmas season, I will turn around and leave any store that has a Salvation Army bell ringer out front.  The Salvation Army has been quite straightforward about treating gay people as less than equal human beings, and I want a store to lose sales any time they allow that type of organization on their property.

Nope. The only thing I've ever done close to that is just not going to a certain location because of non-stop crappy service.  Boycotting doesn't help anymore.. all it does is get the other side all riled up, and profits soar.

I refused to go to Exxon or Mobil stations for at least a decade after Exxon acquired Mobil and rescinded Mobil's domestic partner benefits.

Lol, the joke was I've never been to one so I might as well have been boycotting them. Tongue

Walmart, Domino's Pizza, the Olympics (when held in a non-democratic country), Coors Brewing Company, Chick-fil-A, McDonalds, Burger King, Wendys, and any movies with Mel Gibson in them.
