If he wins the MS Senate seat in 2014, could he be a factor in 2016 (probably as a VP candidate)?

Presumably the Tea Party isn't this stupid...

They'd be better of backing Cotton, who's far more likely to win his Senate race, and all ready has the primary locked up.

It would be an interesting test to the theory that people vote for the presidential candidate and the VP candidate doesn't really help or hurt either way.

Also, since he's captured the hearts of America nationwide, why would he only be a candidate if he wins? If he loses in June, he can immediately devote his whole life to running for president, rather than having to do that pesky Senate thing...

No, you just expanded the page to the point that the thread is unreadable.
Well, I've edited the post.

I doubt that Chris McDaniel will be selected as the Republican Vice-Presidential nominee if he successfully primaries Thad Cochran this year.

He would lose any part of America proud of its renunciation of segregationism. That includes Texas. He would lose a raft of states (the Dakotas, maybe Nebraska and even Kansas) that Democrats seem to never win.

One-term Senator after two years and just to the left of David DuKKKe? No way!

Maybe if the Republicans wanted a reverse 1972.
