It's approaching its 10 year anniversary and is now available for live streaming on Netflix.

Very funny. When I heard what it was about I didn't think it would be good, but it has stronger staying power than I would expect.

Although she seems like she is starting to do better, I miss the hot pre drugged out Lindsey Lohan....

I watched it with my friend and her sisters nine years ago and still remember large chunks of the movie despite not seeing it since. FM.

After hearing/using quotes from it for years, I finally watched the movie for the first time last night! Cheesy

But the most important thing I got from that movie was that other than smartphones and Obama, America really hasn't changed all that much since 2004 Tongue

Second best movie pre-controversy Lindsay Lohan ever acted in (the first being the Nineties remake of The Parent Trap with Dennis Quaid and Natasha Richardson [May she RIP btw]).

So yeah FM.

EDIT: FF's just a force of habit at this point Tongue

As someone who was in high school from 2002-2006, that movie is basically the Heathers/Clueless of my generation.

Seen it but didn't love it. Oddly though the whole clique aspect depicted in this movie was ironically very similar to my high school experience to the point it's almost chilling. Horrendously vain and vapid girls hanging around in groups who leech onto newcomers and ruin them like they do the honest and good people. Unfortunately there were no cheesy speech at the end of the movie to straighten everyone out. Life isn't a film and people are paying for their sillyness which makes me very happy Smiley  .

However on the bright side this movie has some +'s. You get Lindsay Lohan in her prime before she lost her way. She was really beautiful then and it's such a shame she ruined it. You get a rookie and green yet really beautiful Amanda Seyfried as well as Rachel McAdams.  There are some funny parts to it.

But as a whole Heathers is a much better all around film. The cliques part I connect better with Mean Girls due to it's recentness in time. I wasn't around in 89/90 but the plot and purpose is a lot more enjoyable in Heathers even if it is so dark. It had a lot of balls to it. Plus you get Shannon Doherty and Christian Slater in their younger days, that's worth it.
