EPP - federalist centre-right. Major parties include the Spanish People's Party, the German CDU, French UMP and Italian FI.

S&D - federalist centre-left, alliance of all major Labour and Social Democratic parties.
Greens/EFA - Green parties and left wing regionalists like the SNP

ALDE - Classical and social liberals, like the German FDP, British Lib Dems and Irish Fianna Fail (??)

GUE-NGL - far left and socialists, ranging from Irish nationalists like Sinn Fein, to vague Stalinist parties (KKE) and up and coming radical left groups (Syriza).

EFD - Socially conservative, anti-immigration eurosceptics. Dominated at present by UKIP and the Italian Northern League.

ECR - mildly eurosceptic centre-right; basically David Cameron's Tories and a handful of Polish and Czech mates.

Non-Inscruits - Mainly racists tbh.

Ideally a center-right Euro-skeptic group, but that ain't happening, so EPP.

I would float the lines between EPP and ECR, but I voted the latter.

Might be in EPP as a left-wing Christian Democrat.

Probably ECR, but interpreting my views in a European context is weird. Where would a pro-immigration social conservative go?

You might swing between 2 of the groups, like I did. I voted EFD because I'm a fan of UKIP, although depending on the nation, I could just as easily fit into the ECR.

If you're pro-Europe, EPP most likely.    But if you're pro-immigrant and mildly eurosceptic as I would tend toward, it's a bit harder for a fit, though I'd go with ECR since the governance/sovereignty issue would be primary in this context.

I'm also some what eurosceptic (which as an American seems like a ridiculous thing to say). I'm not sure someone with my views could really exist in a European context, but as stated, I think the ECR would be the best choice. Maybe I could be an ECR supporter if my European self was anti-immigration.

ALDE, but they're a bit too federalist for my taste. I guess I don't really have anywhere to go.
