Bernie Sanders, because he's anti-establishment.

Sanders views are much closer to my own and I've never trusted Hillary Clinton.

Hillary, because I don't want to one-up the 2010 Delaware senate race on the national scale.

If Hillary has the nomination locked-up, then Sanders.
If Sanders has a chance, then Hillary.

My vote for Sanders would only be a protest vote for Hillary getting the nomination too easily.

As a centre-left scandinavian, my political view are obviously FAR closer to those of Bernie Sanders, but since he has no chance in hell against any moderately sane republican, I would have to throw my support behind Hillary given that the next election looks winnable for the democrats. If the contest didn't look winnable I would absolutely support Sanders out of principle.

But none of this matters one iota since I'm not an American, so I didn't vote in the poll as to not obscure the results.

Not a Democrat, but I chose Clinton. She has the best chance to win the general election and can preserve Obama's achievements. I like Sanders, but there's no point in nominating a socialist if they're going to lose. Even if he did win, the House is controlled by Republicans and there's the chance that they could narrowly re-gain control of the Senate as well.

In that case I think it would be much wiser for Sanders to stay in the Senate where he can do the most good and for Hillary to hold the Presidency rather than risk the Republicans undoing all the progress made over the last eight years.

Hillary, because I don't want to one-up the 2010 Delaware senate race on the national scale.

Or another 2000-style debacle.

There are no circumstances where I could possibly support Hillary

Clinton, as nominating Sanders ensures a Republican president.

He's made it pretty clear that if he runs it'd be as a Democrat

Considering the fact that the odds of Sanders beating Hillary are almost nonexistent, I'd unhesitatingly vote for Sanders.

Hillary, Sanders is more my type ideologically but he would be a joke nationally.

That does tend to be the implication in a Democratic Primary hypothetical.

I wouldn't vote for Sanders, but I hope he runs because I think the primary could be epic.

Probably Sander's absolute ceiling in a primary against Clinton.

I take my own advice and vote for Hillary. In the primaries I don't vote based on the candidate's views, I vote for the candidate that will give my party the best chance of winning the election. Now if I'd had a vote in 2012, I would have voted in the GOP primary and casted a ballot for Rick Santorum. The only time I vote based on ideology is when my party's nomination is locked up, and I go vote for the biggest idiot from the other party as he (or in the case of Michele Bachmann, she) will give my party the best chance of winning.

The last 3 moderately sane Republicans to run for President lost (Dole, Ford, Goldwater).
