Never knew most people here can't admit they are bi curious.

Because most people aren't bi-curious. They could admit it, sure, but it would be lying, which would kind of defeat the point of asking the question.

Let's be clear, here. I'm gay. I don't hate women or something. I could even life with one if we got along. But, sexually, there is no attraction, desire or lust for women in me. I don't doubt than plenty of people are bi-curious, but most people aren't.

You might be, it's not an issue, I would even say it's great, since you have more choices avaliable than most of us.

Sorry, no.

I don't fantasize about having sex with another guy. It's just not my deal. My best friend is bisexual though. That's his thing.

Okay, I'll stop forever.

The question asked is 'everyone' bi-curious... which considering there are a lot of people here who can be thoughtful at times, would elicit an 'everyone??' - even if you think most people are... I'd be surprised if many people actually think every single person is legitimately bi-curious.

When people say they're curious, it's generally just trying to come to grips with being gay.

Either that, or they're a (mostly)-straight woman either a) acting to titillate male audiences' lesbian fantasies or b) at a women's college or something. Tongue  Or maybe they really are just curious.  But it definitely means different things coming from different genders, as a stereotypical rule- the old saw that "all women are bi, no men are" is obviously not true but there is something to the idea that, whether because of biology or just social pressure, women tend to have more fluid sexualities.

Awkward oversharing time (against my better judgment): an ex of mine was lesbian before she got to college, and then decided to experiment with guys for a couple of years, including yours truly.  She's back to identifying as lesbian, and is married now in fact.  We're still on friendly terms- though we're not particularly close anymore, as time and distance does its thing.

Your defensiveness suggests something. And, for your information, most "bi curious" people, from my observation, end up being gay. You might save yourself a lot of agony this way.
I don't know what you're hinting at.

I am agreeing with my fellow NY avatars in saying that I think you are gay.

Someone should make a poll.

Well, you're quite young, it's normal to ask yourself questions. I doubt you know the answer right now (and it's likely you don't know it before a time).

Nope, nothing about the male body is appealing to me. Gay dudes are great though. Some day I hope to only have gay men as friends.

Well clearly not everyone, but the idea that anyone who is is probably gay is silly.

No.  Sexuality is a sliding scale; which means that yes, there will be people on the far ends of the spectrum.  And it's not a bell curve either with 'most' people falling in the middle.  I'd picture more of something like this completely unscientific graph:

I saw an actual graph years ago... and it seems to suggest that indeed the peaks were at the edges (0 and 1 and 6 and 7)... but it's interesting that the the numbers of 2s and 4s were much higher than 3s and 4s and 5s were more prevalent than 2s.

So, it suggests that people are mostly straight, but a mix of various kinds of 'queer' along the scale but with 3s (absolute equal bi) being the smallest representation.

Why didn't you just ask "are you bi-curious ?" and then we could have had a debate ? The question you asked is silly.

Yes, this man was a f****** misogynist.

To answer this question. I don't think so. I seriously believe that no one is born "gay", "hetero", "bi", but our sexuality is much more a construction. We're socially build. That's why in Greece 2000 years ago, there were much more bisexual/heterosexual, because homosexuality was much more acceptable than during the XIXe century. Everyone can be gay, bi or hetero, but no one choses that.
So, is everybody bi curious?
No

No, but it's perfectly okay to be "bi curious." I understand that there are kinds of sexuality that are more and less acceptable in society, but I've never been attracted to a man, and that's simply the truth. There would be no point in me hiding this about myself at this point in my life if I were attracted to men, but I'm not. At all. And in this instance I find the "social construction" argument a little creepy. I'm not bisexual. I'm not homosexual. Period, end.

If homosexuality and bisexuality were more acceptable, you wouldn't see more of them, you'd only see more people who were comfortable expressing their bisexuality and homosexuality than they might be now, especially as young adults.

But a totally androgynous "bi curious" society is simply not congruent with biology and particularly evolution.

You can start that thread.

There will be no such thing. Your attempt to assuage your half-construct through others' concurrence will not be forthcoming.

Yes, of course, everybody has fantasies in both sides.

What??!

I can assure you that at least one person in the world is not bi curious.
