Your Lemon in Glass container Coca Cola Tea is far inferior to the proper stuff, as shown below. Smiley

The worst, never touch the stuff. Was probably responsible for the decline and fall of the British Empire.

If y'all Brits want some milk in your hot beverage, why not just drink coffee?

Coffee tastes f****** awful as a drink, and Tea doesn't make you stay up all night, I mean, I like my sleep.

Real tea is great, iced tea is an abomination from hell.

FD. Hot with just a bit of sugar. Regular black tea or earl gray (bergamot adds a nice flavor). I don't drink coffee after about 10:00 a.m., so tea is a perfect hot afternoon drink. Don't drink it every day, but now and again I get in the mood for it.

Iced tea is great. British tea is only good for being thrown into harbors.

I don't personally like it. I prefer coffee in the morning/winter or lemonade in the summer/afternoon.

ewww.  Do you also put milk and sugar in your coffee??!

I can go either way.  I prefer coffee, but when I'm in the Far East, where a good cup of Joe is harder to find, I usually drink tea.  Hot, of course.  No milk, no sugar.

Slightly embarrassing, but I probably drink between a liter and two every day.

For coffee, I add cream, but not sugar.

There are tea elitists?  Sheesh, grow a back bone inferiors.

All tea is good.  White, green, black, hot, cold, with milk, with sugar, without sugar, spiked...it's all good.  When you start adding fruit is where I draw the line.  I can deal with a lemon wedge as I can just remove it and chew on it or throw it away, but when the fruit is mixed in with the tea...blech.

Have you ever considered that you may identify so many "elitists" because you simply eat and drink crappy stuff? Wink

Well, you're joking, but you're probably more than a little right.  I can actually understand and get behind some forms of elitism.  I'll judge the hell out of you for what car you drive or music you listen to.  I see a 40 year old dude driving a PT Cruiser and listening to Winger and I'm going to laugh at him, but I don't care if his pizza isn't New York style or he drinks beer I don't like.  I don't feel what flavor beer or pizza (or tea) a person consumes tells me anything about their character*, I think music does a little and cars do a LOT.

*except when a person gets pissy if they see someone drinking American beer, that tells me a great deal about their character Wink

Believe it or not, I agree. There are absolutely excellent American craft beers. Just not the stuff the majority of Americans drink Smiley

I've adopted my husbands description of coffee as basically tasting like 'dog-sh**t tacos' (and he drinks coffee all the time)

As for tea I'll quote this; (if anyone gets it you win the prize)

'It's not up to me. If you come to me and ask me, I'm gonna tell you the truth, because it is the truth, I have had tea. Lots of tea. Indian tea. And biscuits.'

People who don't like the taste of coffee are bad people.
