Adam Griffin: here is my proposal for the wealthiest possible GA district. I estimate the median household income to be at least $110k, possibly above $120k.

The basic pattern you see when looking at the local level is that median income increases the closer you get to GA 400, except that it plummets once you get within a few miles of it. Thus you get this district, starting in the Gwinnett/Forsyth/Cherokee exurbs then filling in the McMansion suburbia on both sides of 400 (which snakes down through the district without ever really entering it itself), branches over to get those rich East Cobb neighborhoods, takes in most of Buckhead then shoots a tendril down to those rich parts of Druid Hills and Decatur.
