Maxwell for IDS Legislator - A New Face in the IDS

The elections are coming up rapidly, so I will say only a few things: I am regretful of my time as Attorney General, because I feel like I did not do what I was confirmed to do. This will change in my tenure as IDS Legislator. I will craft legislation on behalf of the IDS. I have some goals that I want to accomplish in the IDS, some of them are broad, and some of them are more specific.

- Encourage Activity.
- Push forward Semi-Presidentialism, allowing Legislators to hold "cabinet roles" such as Attorney General, in order to specify what a legislator does and make things interesting.
- Seek to reduce taxation on fuel
- Encourage an all of the above strategy on energy.
- Be a voice for limited, effective government.

What should the region do with the Pentagram?

I assume you are referring to The Pentagram Creation Act, and my feeling is it probably shouldn't be Government owned and operated. I would be in favor of complete privatization of the Pentagram, should someone want ownership of it.

Actually, Maxwell, you're not the only candidate in your race.  Speaker Dereich is running for a full term in the same district.  That's why I was rather surprised you announced candidacy for the race that already has a candidate rather than the one that doesn't.

Nope, I don't think so.  The blue states are district 2 (+Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia) and the red states are district 1 (+Newfoundland and Labrador and Puerto Rico).

Time for my "in your face", nutty agenda!

Ladies and Gentlemen of the IDS, I thank you for electing me to your chambers. I assure you, I will put forward an agenda of pure nuttery. My first proposal, privatizing the Pentagram, is bound to have some people getting their pitchforks. But I am not here to appease: I am here to legislate, and that is what I will do in the Legislature. I have a couple of proposals in the works, most of which are ones already on my campaign docket (decreasing fuel taxation, Semi-Presidentialism).

Get ready, cause its gonna be crazy!
