Walter, is there some reason that you can't or won't type any capital letters?

Going back to 2004, no, there is no way of him typing up capitals. It seems the only time he did so was when he was typing up his username.

I like Brooke generally, but I'd vote for the right-wing democrat.

Actually, I just realized question marks require the shift key, so he does use it, but only when he has to.

Brooke, definitely.

Interesting that he was a Republican.

At the time that he was a Republican, the Democratic Party of the state had the reputation of being a bit racist (which is like saying the sky is blue).  The GOP was settled on the issue while the Democrats were at a state of civil war over it.  One of the most heated battles over Civil Rights, actually, came from a Democratic Primary for a congressional district that was based heavily in South Boston between infamous race baiter Louise Day Hicks and the liberal pro-labor Democrat Joe Moakley.  Hicks won the primary, though Moakley would ultimately win the seat after running as a Independent (and then promptly switching back to the Democratic Party).

The state GOP, on the other hand, was fully committed to the liberal agenda on Civil Rights.  For Brooke, it was an easy decision to make.

This is one Senate race were both candidates were pretty great. In the end, I probably would have voted for Brooke however.
