How many Atlas watchers? I just got into it and am already halfway through the third season. Linda is fast becoming my favorite character for some reason (or at least on par with Tina).

Huge fan along with the wife. It's usually just family oriented enough we can watch it with our little boys too. Smiley

Oh just wait til you get to the fourth season episode broadcast last weekend.  (s04e17)

Something tells me you'll either love it, or be mightily offended, Snowstalker.  Smiley

It hasn't been quite as good this season as it was last year, but it's certainly my favorite show on network television now.

I like this show and I've recently been able to pinpoint why.  It's a modern show where family characters help each other and put others before themselves as opposed to ridicule them down to punchlines like Family Guy and the modern sitcom do constantly.  It doesn't have to be snide to be funny and it's a refreshing change.

I still enjoy my snide humor. I unabashedly still enjoy new episodes of Family Guy for a few good jokes (and Rick & Morty is the best new comedy on TV if you haven't seen it), but it's nice to relax with an episode of Bob's Burgers, too.

It's awesome, and like King said, the family isn't constantly fighting, which is original. My favourite character is Tina.

The story of Update would probably be best told as an animated series considering it's more weird aspects.

Love it. I've been annoyed the past few weeks that it hasn't been on because of the Neil DeGrasse Tyson Cosmos nonsense. I wish they would pick another time for that show, it's ruining my Sundays. I keep missing Bob's Burgers and Family Guy.

I like all the main characters, but my favorite is Louise, because of Kristan Schall's voice, I wish she was on the Daily Show more often.

The creator of the show, Loren Bouchard, is moving out of my Silverlake house (bought a house in the Oaks district of the Hollywood Hills). So on top of everything else I am doing, I need to find a new tenant. Boo!  Sad

Still, Torie, that's kinda cool who your tenant is (or was).

I think I know what you mean. It's more of a sitcom that happens to be animated, much like King of the Hill (which I think is the extremely underrated gold standard of animated sitcoms).

I mostly started watching it because I've tended to watch FOX's Sunday animated shows as a bloc, but I've been really impressed by the show in its own right.

Indeed.  Bob's Burgers and KotH are more realistic than nearly any live action sit-com.

Never seen it, but any animated show on Fox is a disgrace to such a beautiful art form.

It's nothing like MacFarlane's shows or modern Simpsons. Have you watched it?
