Out of all the people you'd want to be the standard bearer for the GOP, you'd choose that Chickenhawk Norm Coleman? Instead of someone like Susan Collins or Olympia Snowe?

I have to say, the current direction of the Minnesota Republican Party makes me think going back to Norm Coleman wouldn't be so bad. Then I remember Norm Coleman, and am glad they're going the blow up everything route instead of the third rate Mitt Romney impression route.

And yes, I'm aware Norm Coleman was probably relevant before Mitt was.

Being merely better than Ted Cruz (not a very hard thing) hardly makes Coleman "all right" Tongue

Are you kidding me?  He was a fantastic senator for the people of Minnesota.  Too bad he got an election stolen from him by a far-left, potty-mouthed comedian who said conservatives "are all a bunch of mother***ing, Nazi, a**holes who should drink poison and die."

Eh, I can understand having a lot of no votes here: he was probably better than just "alright."

I might have been inclined to vote for him had I been in MN in '08. (I was partial to Barkley, personally.)

I'd say he was okay.
