No, but it is the leftist counterpart to the Tea Party.

It wasn't designed to be, but it's largely been used as one.

It never got close to the power the Tea Party wields.

That's entirely due to media bias. Entirely.

America has a media that kisses the ground the Tea Party walks on, yet absolutely hates Occupy, and even lies about Occupy's activities.

Why do people here keep referring to it in the past tense? I still attend Occupy Cincinnati events regularly.

People still go to Tea Party rallies, too.

I haven't seen a Tea Party rally that's drawn more than 3 people in the past couple years.
