I just started watching this show a couple of weeks ago and man, it's a great replacement new reality show to get hooked on now that Duck Dynasty is dead in the swamp. They have the incredibly hot attraction (their son Chase), a dumb blonde daughter who thinks she's Pamela Anderson (Savannah), the boring meh daughter (Lindsie), "rabble-rouser" little son (Grayson), oldest son and former drug addict (Kyle), Kyle's daughter (Chloe), Todd's wife (Julie) who has a strong Southern accent, their pet dog, wild and stylin' Grandma Faye (Todd's mother), Grandma Faye's older friend (Catherine) and that's all I can think of. The stuff is funny, the kids are totally stuck-up and utter trainwrecks, and the family standards set by Todd are just awesome in wanting everything his way or the highway with strict requirements and hard stances on drugs, pornography, texting while driving, speeding, not doing what he says etc.

The best episode by far this season was on Todd and Julie's anniversary in which as part of their "gift," the 5 kids sent them off to a secret place for their anniversary with Chase as the chauffeur and the kids even forgetting to pay the bill for the massage, so Todd and Julie have to pay it and after their dinner then, they see their mom on a blind date out for coffee with a random guy that Kyle helped her grandmother meet on ChristianMingle.

Luckily, its been renewed for a 2nd Season and the season finale tonight was awesome. The Chrisley's waited until 3 days before Chloe's 1st birthday to start throwing a party and even then, Todd made a bet with Julie that he could throw the party on his own which was a total mess when he brought Chase and Savannah along to help, so he got his mom to secretly bake a cake for him and asked his personal assistant to do everything else including a petting zoo, a "bouncy" as Southerners call it I guess, decore, refreshments, cupcakes etc. Meanwhile, Savannah got a speeding ticket for going 25 miles over the speed limit and Todd and Julie stepped in and took driving privileges away from her for 6 months. I don't blame them, I mean, people drive over the speed limit all the time, but who drives that fast? Huh Later, during the party, Savannah dressed up as an adult princess (because it was a princess themed party) and did face paintings and the quote of the episode came when Savannah face painted their grandmother and Chase responded, "She made my grandmother look like she passed out in a frat house." The party was successful, Todd bought her wife the jewelry anyway, and Chase continues to be the best character on the show. Cheesy
