He's a plumber from New Jersey.  He's ready to jump on a problem when it happens and run through any obstacle coming his way.  He is known as firey, and in one point in the campaign, thought of as invincible.  He as seen as somewhat an environmentalist as he follows learns from the animals.  He is adept at skills taught by the frogs and raccoons. And he's incredibly popular with the mushroom people, so he chooses Toad, who was head of health and human services for the VP.

He hails from the woods of Oregon.  He's know as a man of passion as he is expirienced with his ocarina and is healthy as the amount of hearts he holds.  He's good with supporting the farms such as Lon-Lon ranch, yet also helps the carpenters union.  The religous like his veiws on good over evil and protecting the holy triforce.  He picks Daruna, mayor of the Goron city for the VP beacuse of his strength and compassion.

Mario is running from Jersey, but, yes he is originally from Brooklyn.  As for Star Fox(libertarian), I doubt it would happen.  There're hardly any video games that don't have the character use force somehow.  Good candidate for the LP, uh, um,...           I know!  The square block from Tetris, and he chooses the L shaped block as a running mate.

On Second thought, Yoshimitsu might be an Anarchist. He's the only rebel in Tekken who has the balls to carry and USE a weapon in a fist-fighting game.
That, and also, keep in mind he's a Robin hood-like bandit. stealing from the rich and giving to the needy. kinda commie if i do say so myself.
