Regardless, basically every politician in India takes rape lightly.

And most Indian politicians aren't above creating communal tensions and violence to win elections. When I point that out, it is denounced as "whataboutery".

What is there that you like about the SP? Their valiant effort to keep the caste system entrenched in Indian society as much as possible?

I like them because they're somewhat ideologically consistent, at least compared to other self professed socialist parties in India which go in and out of coalition with the BJP.
