No no no.

A drunk and unruly passenger tried to get into the cockpit. Which was my first thought - it's a flight from Brisbane to Bali on ANZAC Day, everyone on that flight would be drunk.

But this is my golden rule - never believe media comments from Indonesian officials, they're always wrong and melodramatic.

This happens quite a lot... particularly on these kinds of routes.

Not as bad as Malaysian officials.

A few years ago, a former co-worker of mine said that he was on a flight with a guy who had a mental breakdown and tried to get to the exits, while they were 35,000 feet above the ocean.  (Of course I think those doors are pressurized such that it's impossible to open them at that altitude, so there was no danger.)  I guess being on a long international flight makes some people a bit loopy.

They should put openable windows on those planes, to take some pressure away - literally. Tongue
