Yes (if that doesn't make me normal, I'm okay with that).

No, I know it's "kewl" to hate the Moderators, and yes, they aren't exactly saints, but BRTD would be awful.

BRTD would be a fine moderator.

Actually, I think he'd do well in the Presidential Elections - Analysis and Discussion section.  He knows alot about that stuff and spends time there.

Given the quality of some of the moderation that goes on now, why not, couldn't be any worse.

Sure, provided that we put krazen in the Cave along with him, so that the effectuation of chaos theory can reach its sublime consummation, and Muon2 can win a Nobel Prize writing a paper about it all.

He'd certainly be a better mod than most of the current incompetent and arbitrary busy-bodies. It'd be nice to have a couple more moderators who aren't right-wingers too.

Obviously.  Honestly, a poster as distinguished and accomplished as he should be an honorary mod.

Thanks to all the Yes voters. Smiley

One of our current mods is similar to BRTD (I won't say who, but I'm sure that most of you can guess correctly), and he is not especially popular.

If it's who I think it is, then I can't see how we're alike at all.

I don't know about him specifically, because does he even want it? If so, he should be allowed to apply like anyone else.

What we really need is a mod rotation program. Keep them fresh by limiting them to terms of a couple years. Who the hell wants to devote a decade of their life to moderating an Internet forum anyway?

I love brtd but he is totally unfit to be a moderator. Ironically, that makes him a prototype mod, therefore I support his inclusion on the mod team, permanently displacing Inks.

If it would help correct the inexplicable affection so many hold for him, which it inevitably would, then sure.

If offered, I'd accept it.

That's a good idea as well.
