A few months ago, I introduced the Midwestern Cooperative Act, with the intent to promote the creation of new employee-owned companies. After it was passed, I felt that more could be done for cooperatives than just loan assistance and tax exemptions. This bill also intends to make cooperative development into a more organized effort. I feel this bill could really help transition the region towards a post-capitalist market economy.

I have just a question, is the previous Cooperate bill repealed?

Nope. This bill is more of a supplement to the previous cooperative bill.
