The matter of historical facts aside, as many people noted, is there anyone here who doesn't think Roosevelt - or Truman after him - would have ordered use of atomic bombs in Germany if the war had been going poorly up until that point? Leaders of that era did not have a clear grasp of the dangers posed by nuclear fallout and at the time were fine with loss of civilian life. As in the case of Japan, German was bombarded quite heavily, including at times with incendiary ordinance. There was plenty of racism back then but I seriously doubt it would have played a factor in deciding who got to be on the receiving end of nuclear weapons.
Indeed, the only reason Japan got nuked was because they refused to surrender, once the Atomic Bomb was ready to be deployed. Nazi Germany would have been nuked too, if similar circumstances applied.
