I honestly cannot think of anyone further from relevance. He represents a super-safe Republican state that's smaller than a lot of major cities, that's closer to Siberia than it is to the rest of America, and his predecessor is the GOP's worst political punchline.

He's a governor with limited appeal, he could be a dark horse VP contender, but maybe not as a GOP presidential nominee.

That's exactly the point of this thread. It's sarcastic. I'm not seriously suggesting that Parnell could, would, or should enter the 2016 speculation field, but if I were, this speculation would be more reasonable than some of the possible contenders that have been floated here.

So. I agree with you. But sarcasm is fun. xD

Last time I checked he has middling approvals and a small list of ethics issues. Also, he's bland, unheard of, and lacking anything that some other better candidate doesn't already have.
