Phil Bredesen currently holds the record for most votes received by a TN Governor; he got 1,247,491 in 2006 (winning 69-30).

In 2010, Haslam got 65% and 1,041,545 votes.

I kind of doubt it. Turnout will probably be lower and its unlikely he'll get over 70%

I don't see it happening.

Haslam gets 66%.

Despite getting over 70%, Haslam feel just under 300K (!) votes short of Bredesen.

Haslam even got fewer votes than he did in 2010.

Same kind of situation in Ohio. Kasich got a huge margin, but hundreds of thousands of people (especially Democrats) sat home.
