After these November 2014 elections, do you think the Congress of the United States will get it's act together, get certain bills passed, or will it be more dysfunction and Obama-Biden presidency turn into official "lame duck" status? If the Republicans gain the Senate, do you see official impeachment hearings?

Well, if the Democrats take the house, it will be productive. But that's highly highly highly unlikely.
So it will be extremely unproductive.

It'll probably be worse than the current Congress, if anything

I think the Republicans will take the Senate, so I expect the 114th Congress to send a ton more bills to the President's desk.

99% of them will be vetoed, though.

With both parties controlling either branches, it will be more of the same. Infersizing deficit control and border security compromise on immigration.

This Congress can only get more deadlocked and dysfunctional than the current one, due to a very close and divided Senate. Democrats/Obama will probably have a hard time pushing their agenda even through the Senate in 2015-2017.

I don't see why anything will change, to be honest.

More productive than the previous two Congresses, but still remarkably unproductive by historical standards.

The Tea Party isn't getting much love this year so this may lead some GOP Senators and Congressmen back into the fold in advance of 2016.

My bet is we'll see impeachment hearings regardless of the 2014 results... however most Republicans won't vote for impeachment unless they know it has a shot to make it through the Senate, which is a Democratic or tied Senate means it'll fall in the House.

The Republicans probably don't need much to try...

Honestly impeachment is probably the best favor Republicans could do for Obama, sure a good number of Americans don't like the job Obama's done but I guarantee nearly all aren't crazy enough to agree with whatever impeachment charges the GOP House would draw up, which would probably read like a Tea Party wet dream (Benghazi! Fast and Furious! ObamaCare! Solyndra! Benghazi!)
