I saw an article that said voter turnout among the homeless was 10%.

What parties and candidates do the homeless favor? I'm guessing the homeless voted overwhelmingly for Obama simply for economic reasons.

I'm surprised that with the US's draconian voting laws that any homeless people are able to vote.

If I became homeless, the first thing I would do is make sure my voter registration info is updated properly.

There's a precinct in Seattle that's basically just homeless people registered at a county building. Obama won it 54-13 over McCain (with 4 other votes).

I'm wondering how many states have laws that effectively prevent the homeless from voting. Georgia for instance recently adopted its "Secure ID" system; at the latest, everyone will have to go through the process by 2016. This is what it takes to get a secure ID in Georgia.

Vast majority wouldn't vote. Those that do, Obama would win at least 80% of them.

That's more McCain votes than I thought. In fact, I think Obama got a lower percentage in that precinct than Seattle as a whole.

Wouldn't the homeless vote be inherently anti-incumbent?

Why would that be the case?

Is the vote of the extremely poor who aren't homeless also inherently anti-incumbent?
