Hostile. I don't see the point of blocking Colombia for the reasons listed before (the trade unionist part I can somehwat understand, but what is the point of mentioning that the government is right wing?).

The idea of Australia in NATO is completely contrary to the point of the organisation, Senator. That is obvious. What NATO is is obvious. What an APTO would be would be obvious. And that is perfectly fine. I beseech you to consider this.

I am, but I have a distint problem understanding the need for two organizations when you could do it in one by reforming NATO, adding these new members and then proposing a change in name and so forth (which is up to the President and SoEA to do, though). Could you tell me which is the merit for the APTO in your opinion?

Lumine, NATO serves a specific purpose. It is not global security. It is containment. APTO would serve a similar purpose. To conglomerate them would not only muddle them, but alienate our European allies by making them feel marginalised in their own organisation.
