How do you feel about the fluoridation of toothpaste?

It's fine. It really only affects the teeth. Unlike fluoridated water, you don't swallow it so it doesn't get into other parts of your system.

Well, I believe that people should be allowed to have automatic and semi-automatic firearms. However, I'm fine with such weapons being required to be properly stored and not carried in public. The main use for such weapons would be defense of the nation in case of foreign invasion, opposing the government should it become tyrannical enough to warrant rebellion(an unlikely event in our country, but not beyond the realm of possibility), or possibly an extreme case of home defense.

Well, bears should be able to arm themselves if they want, though thye might have a hard time of it lacking opposable thumbs and all. Really, this is a region's rights issue, and the federal government should be kept out of it. Wink

Why waste a question like that on a Libertarian?

Actually, I'm for arming lots of animals. Animals are just cooler if they have lasers attached to them. Bears are more suited to flamethrowers or buzzsaws for hands though - at least according to the experts.

Why should a far lefty like myself vote for you instead of your opponents?

Because if you don't, the consequences could be dire! (i.e. one of my opponents might win Wink)

Seriously though, I can't tell anyone why the should vote for me if they dislike my character(which I do not think you do) or disagree with my stances, which many lefties do, at least on economics. Often you might agree with me on social issues, but then again I am for region's rights - I believe in keeping the federal government out of such things for the most part, except for such issues as stated by the constitution. Still, region's rights can be a good thing even for a lefty - it prevents some policies you may dissaprove of from being enacted on the federal level, so only the regions that want those policies will have to deal with them. Of course you may be trading policies you like in exchange, so it's up to you to decide if the tradeoff is worth it. All I can say is that you should look at all the candidates the best you can and vote for whom you want most.

I have a friend with a score of +9,-9 (or thereabouts) - Pretty impressive, no?

Now back to John Dibble for Senate.
