It did end at a very inconvenient point. Bushie had been bragging about how easy it would be to get a $40k/year CADD job, he finishes school months early despite chronic absenteeism, he promised to put up proof of his certificate as soon as he receives it, and then poof, everything shut down. As I understand things, he has moved long distance, again, to work at another call center. But that was a few weeks ago, so who the heck knows what's going on now.

The threat of having his name tainted throughout the plains was the official reason, but it's hard not to suspect being proven so wrong yet again played into the decision as well. I do like how the last season stressed the failures of our education systems in the US. That's a tenet of our society that, until recently, was held up with the utmost blind faith by nearly everybody. The times, they are a changin'

Which leads to the obvious Update Truther conspiracy theory: Bushie conspired with Mondale to create the confrontation, and asked him to set up the anti-Bushie Facebook page, just so that he'd have an excuse to shut down Update for good (or until he decides to reopen it) at a time when he was feeling the heat from the rest of us criticizing his poor job search decisions, without everyone criticizing him too much for it.  Heck, maybe Bushie himself created that FB page.  We saw Mr. Costantini use his own account to link to it elsewhere on FB, but there's no proof that he actually set up the page in the first place.

The thing is he's weaved a narrative to deceive his friends.  Making it sound like "oh f[inks], I didn't know they'd put me on the call center side of the company".      Meanwhile he knew all along it was call center work.

Facebook. Apparently he broke the news today that he is now working on the call center side of things instead of data entry, to his surprise.

His life will continue this downward spiral until he reopens the Update.
