I analyzed irregular meter readings of customers gas meters and took appropriate action either adjusting the reading or sending out a service tech to investigate possible leaks.

We should have hired you to investigate leaks from the mod board.

At least ONG didn't escort him off the premises though.

No, he proudly left to go work for ON Company. Oh what good times those were!

Yep, then the loyal Updaters, who supposedly all hate Bushie according to some people, saved Bushie from going to prison.

We tried to save him from that job too, King even posted a google search showing it was a scam after 5 minutes of research, but Bushie told us he knew better than we did , he had searched up and down and found that company was reputable, and he was letting god take the lead!

I know you guys like to reminisce over old times, but I can tell you I've moved on.  There's no need to bring it up ever again.

I'm really looking forward to going back to work on Monday.  I feel I can do great work at this job even while I look for a CAD job.  It is quite comforting to know I do have a job to go back to at the conclusion of the weekend.  It may not be what I've always dreamed of, but it's a good job, it pays the bills, and it gives me something to do during the day.

We might have to if you fall for something like that again.

I hope not. At least Bushie is making enough to pay off his amex bill each month. They hate when people run up a balance!

Thankfully, I no longer have an AMEX card.  I paid that off and cut it up a couple years ago.

He answered this already.

bushie, does your new job require you to clock out to go to the bathroom?

I have to go in a different code on the phones, but I still get paid for it.

Bushie, I know the conversation has moved on from this for now, so I'm sorry for bringing it up again, but I've been looking for this quote to share with you for a while now.

Did Bushie have a stint at Foxconn that we never heard about?

I made it home to Tulsa about 14:30 this afternoon.  I had a fun weekend with the family, but now it is time to settle into a Sunday evening and get ready for Week 3 of work.  Work night #9 begins in 45 minutes.

I actually knew a woman who worked at a Foxconn facility in the Houston area. She did some sort of quality control - I think she was supposed to inspect whatever they were making and send the defective ones somewhere to be fixed. But she was paid minimum wage ($7.25/hr) and was never given more than 25 hours a week. And they always changed her shifts around and called her at the last minute which meant she basically couldn't have a second job even if she wanted to. She quit because she was pregnant and it was obvious to her that when she had her baby, it would make more sense for her to just stay home since she'd be paying more for childcare than she was making at her job.

As I have said before, if we want people like her to be able to have gainful employment and economic mobility, they need better access to childcare.

It's criminal that a manufacturing quality control job is minimum wage.

Does anyone know if travelers diarrhea is contagious?  My aunt came down with it coming back from Spain last week and just got over it.  I was around her all day Saturday and for an hour today.  Now,  I've been gagging all day at nearly every scent.  I'm not in pain at this time and I haven't thrown up yet, but I've been close.

Unlikely. A more-likely reason for your sensitive gag reflex is your aunt regaling you with stories of her traveler's diarrhea.

I don't think you get enough fiber in your diet for even the strongest of diarrhea-causing bacterias to navigate your colon.
