Did any of you know that this carpetbagging asshole was offered RFK's Senate seat in 1968 by his Uncle, two years after he was elected to the WV State House, and only declined since he feared defeat in the 1970 election?

Alas, my hatred of Rockefeller runs strong in my veins going back to my grandma's father. I don't like carpetbagging, and Rockefeller makes Scott Brown, Hillary Clinton, and Bob Smith look like natives compared to the utter contempt this man has always secretly held for the people his state.

Scott Brown is as big as a carpetbagger as Bob Smith, Hillary Clinton, and Jay Rockefeller. And unlike the last two, he has no real chance of winning. I mentioned Brown in my first post, FWIW.

They are 3.3 times more likely to die in a fire than the national average.  OF course, smoking plays a part in that it's frequently a way house fires start.  Now, smoking itself certainly kills more West Virginians than fires, but it's a death cherry on top of all the cancer.

Oddly, where WV does rank best is lowest rate of STDs, I guess because of their relative insularity.
