What if Spiro T. Agnew didn't quit his VP position in 73' and he become President when Nixon resigned. Hoe bad would that be?

Would've been better than Ford.

I have no idea.  He never did much as VP, so it's hard to tell what kind of president he would have been.

Ford had the advantage of having been fully investigated by Congress, even more so than he would have been if he had been on the ticket in 1972.  So even if there were skeletons in his closet that emerged later, Congress would have had egg on its face.

With Agnew, his own personal corruption, if it was discovered on the heels of the Nixon resignation, would have been a huge problem.

I think Ford was a decent president at the time, though I think he's gone a little batty in more recent years with his friendship with that awful Jimmy Carter.
