I've never really had much to do with him, so neutral I guess. Though apparently some people think I'm his evil twin or something like that Tongue

Oh, he's bad enough that you're his good twin.

Pretty ed up. Most of his posting has been OK recently, but what he's said before makes him a solid HP.

Yeah, this.  Most of his posts are reasonable-if-generic red avatar stuff, actually- but once in awhile the mask slips.  And when it does, hoo boy.

He (I think) was in a thread in US General talking about 'ghetto culture' or something of the like. Somebody pointed out that nobody really bloviates about 'Wall Street culture' or 'Silicon Valley culture' being criminal or dangerous, even when they complain about them for other reasons; he responded that those people aren't thugs and car thieves. I guess it's possible not to read racial subtext into this, but considering that he's an admitted eugenicist who goes on about the power and glory of 'the West', I do.

Unfortunately the posts seem to have been deleted so maybe this was some other venal and amoral red avatar who I confused with him when I read the thread. In which case I retract what I said, for now.

Here, have a consolation prize:

Anybody who uses the phrases "check your privilege" or "triggers" is just a pathetic victim who will never amount to anything.

Sometimes people deserve the bad things that happen to them. Just for being so pathetic.

The things he just comes out and says are bad enough, why would anyone resort to subtext?

I wasn't going to, but Hashemite asked.

Not to waste any of your precious time defending Cory, but that actually is true if you read it as referring to people's perceptions rather than reality. People care about "ghetto culture" (lol) because violent crime is more important to most people than something arcane like insider trading or whatever.

This is what he said that Nathan is referencing:

I notice that comparatively few people really talk about the destructive effects of the culture of Wall Street or Silicon Valley or (etc., pick your poison...) have on the lives of so many people,  compared to the GHETTO CULTURE or whatever. I suppose it's easier to blame the powerless for their lack of power.

That's because people from Wall Street and Silicon Valley aren't breaking into my car in the middle of the night.

That's less bad than I remembered. I wonder who bothered to delete it since he's said far more--and far more openly--disgusting things with impunity.
