Unquestionably Boston.  St. Paul is an easy second place, then it gets tougher.

Same.  Madison and Austin are cool towns.  Atlanta might be nice if you lived in Intown portion.

Y'know, I might actually go with Trenton of all places as #3, not because of anything redeeming within the city itself but because if I lived there it would pretty easy to take the train to Philly or NYC and spend all my time in those fine cities instead. 

It's not just about what's in the city itself, where else you can get to matters as well.  Which is why Austin probably doesn't even crack my top half. Tongue
