From what I saw he picked his ear, held his hand in front of eyes to closely examine it for a second or so, and then quite intentionally put that same finger back in his mouth. Looks pretty intentional to me.

Still, it's hilarious how he just casually did that and looked afterwards to see if anyone saw him eat it. This won't be a contributing reason as to why he could possibly lose this year (though it won't help) plus this will remind voters of his "thong" incident from last year. Not that Rivera should use any of these blunders in his campaign, but wow, he's already in trouble as is given the circumstances already.

By the way, ingesting ear wax and boogers is a simple way to potentially boost your immune system's response against harmful bacteria and other pathogens in any given environment. Not that it isn't, like, super icky omg (!! ), but it's not entirely bad or even an unnatural thing to do. Have you ever considered the purpose of kissing? It's weird and disgusting when considered objectively by itself.
