With all the questions of would you disown your daughter/son if... questions these days, I want to know how many of you actually have kids and recognize the strong emotional bonds involved, and how many are simply thinking in dry hypothetical terms.

None, though I also raised this point in another thread.  It's all well and good saying stuff like "Yeah, I'd probably disown my daughter if she....", but it's another story when you're actually in that position.
