At noon, turnout in Italy is some 16%.

Don't know how this compares with previous years, but it looks of course much higher than other countries.

It's a shame we abandoned two-day voting though. Sad

Sweden is projected to have increased turn-out compared to 2009. It's estimated it'll be over 50% turn-out for the first time in a EP election over here.

Turnout in Denmark 29.57% at 14.00 according to Ritzau. It's 1.0% down from same time in 2009, but then we had a referendum on royal succession which probably drew a bit mit more voters than the unified patent court. Polls close at 20.00

Turnout in Spain at 14:00 (CET): 23.89% (-0.21%)

Record turnout in Catalonia: 25.26%(+5.91%). Increase in Basque Country (+1.04%), Navarre (+0.81%) and Andalusia (+0.37%). Decrease in the rest of regions: Murcia (-3.41%), Extremadura (-3.12%), Castilla y León (-2.77%), Canaries (-2.49%), Madrid (-2.07%), Valencia (-1.88%), Galicia (-1,26%), etc.
