Here's a map of those results:

I'm still not sure about this quiz. For example, I'm pretty sure someone who hates the cold as much as I do would prefer North Carolina to Alaska. Tongue

We're pretty much the exact opposite.

24. Wisconsin (72%)
25. Alabama (71%)
26. Ohio (71%)
27. Florida (68%)
28. Washington (66%)
29. Montana (64%)
30. Illinois (62%)
31. Louisiana (62%)
32. Mississippi (62%)
33. Michigan (61%)

48. Arizona (50%)
49. Arkansas (49%)
50. Nevada (46%)
51. North Carolina (34%)

I would say this is mostly accurate. I was surprised that North Carolina was last, and by such a large margin, considering it is one of my favorite southern states. Alabama, Rhode Island and the Southwest particularly stand out to me.

I also had North Carolina as oddly low. I'd certainly rank it above South Carolina in almost every aspect, and yet SC ranked much higher for me than NC. At first, I thought it might have been the smoking question, since I assumed NC was one of the most pro-tobacco states in the country. However, SC has a higher smoking rate than NC. I wonder if it might have been the hurricane question.

Well Washington got 100%, so that's good. But there's no way that Montana and Alaska should score lower than Maryland or New Jersey. Nothing against those states, but I'd be a terrible fit there.
