Try to guess which District 5 voter or voters i am pandering to with each of these. Of course, I doubt some of them will vote for me.

1. I like cheese, i really do. Especially smoked cheddar, and to a lesser extent gouda.

2. Rectangular states rock, Man!

3. I have always been a proud supporter of the Australian-Oregonian and German-Hawaiian communities.

4. I have a good deal of respect for men who are able to form a one-man party AND STAY THAT WAY, unlike yours truly.

5. I give very high respect to the Lord's great henchman, that libertarian from a square (err... make that rectangular) province.

6. I am a great admirer of your comic book character!

7. Given your track records of success, you should take after your proud predecessor, the honorable Joshua Norton, and just declare yourself Emperor...

8. ... even though someone else holds another royal title, and has an attractive-looking gal in his sig.

9. Palindromic 3-letter names are great!

10. No, I actually do have a good deal of respect for British Columbia.

11. Actually, District 5 has yet another royal, a valiant AH contender and ruler of the high praries.

12. I propose that the Lord High Executioner be an official federal position.

13. New Mexico really does not belong in the Midwest!

14. California Neocons are way cool, man!

15.  Although i think the Robot should be the Pacific's official animal, you'd be a close second...

16. I just had delicious Idaho mashed potatoes in my dinner.

17. Kansas is a way underrated state. So is Montana, by the way.

18. You were a fine President... you too, actually.

Any other panderings will come to mind eventually...

JFK is the only former President in D5 unless you count Lewis Trondheim's 6 hours as President-Elect...

Since I am moving back to California on April 10th, we could always give Nevada to the Midwest for NM...

Only problem with this district map is:

7th Session
2A - From New England
2B - From Midwest

3A - From Midwest
3B - From New England

So the fine people of New York will be represented by Mike Naso while the equally fine people of Iowa will be represented by MAS117.  Smiley

10. No, I actually do have a good deal of respect for British Columbia.

That's the first time I've ever seen a guy pander to his opponent for his vote. Cheesy

Yeah, that would be fine. Cheesy

And it's pretty clear which number refers to me. Grin

If so, good luck! hahahaha.

I am. And how am I going about it? Look at my previous posts. I know that it will be very difficult to win in a dry, serious race. But if I crack enough jokes...

You keep at that, DanielX, you keep at it.  Personally, though, I don't think you have a shot.

John Ford might vote for you...and maybe Wildcard. Perhaps Stevennick, but he's disappeared.

I doubt you'll get more than 3 votes, though. Smiley

I've thought of a couple, actually. They're not as renown as them, though. I doubt I could win without CheeseWhiz's vote, for example (cheese is good, btw).

A blue avatar is neither a guarantee of a vote for me nor the only voters for me. I am trying to appeal to as many people as possible. In order to win, I have to try and appeal to as many different avatars as possible.

Besides, how can you resist the cheesy gimmicks? I mean, hippies get free baths, and even discounts on campaign paraphenalia!

I got the first one!  I really like cheddar, but I just realized that Gouda is one of the few cheeses I haven’t tried…  Now I have to get some!

Oh, Gabu, you do realize this gives him the upper hand Wink

I think I’ve decided to give DanielX my vote, but they are both terrific choices!
And if you’re wondering why, it’s because DanielX will be voting in the Midwest governor election and Gabu won’t…  Just kidding!

I think that Gabu will be reelected.
But I also thought that Nym would easily defeat Naso...

You know, DanielX is the only person to ever pander to my vote.  I'm getting all teary-eyed.
