Just think, Jimmy Carter and George H.W. Bush are still eligible to run for President again. So, provided that they both survive until then, what do y'all think it would be like if they won their parties' nomination.

Fmr. Pres. Jimmy Carter (D-GA)/ Sen. Jack Reed (D-RI) 275  49.5%
Fmr Pres G.H.W. Bush (R-TX) / Sen. John Thune (R-SD) 263  49.2%

While both candidates are generally well-liked, Carter has more controversial statements, esp on Israel, which he is confronted with, but manages a narrow win with a more more energized base of support.
