I've long believed that Lamar Alexander would make a decent GOP Leader.

This might be an awful idea, but what about Orrin Hatch?

Too old would be my guess.

Plus he said this is his final term.

Nah, he'll become President Pro Tempore. He's also retiring in 2018 anyway.

Imagine what would go down if Ted Cruz became majority leader.

LOL!  They won't allow that.  Frankly, I'd like to see Susan Collins.

Outside shot: Murkowski

She's probably too moderate unfortunately, but would create a less combative Senate body.

Roy Blunt would make sense because has experience leading a congressional body, but he may face a competitive election next year (and he looks like a pedophile).

I'm thinking it'll be Ayotte, Portman or Rubio if the GOP picks up the majority

If they're still in the minority or it's 50-50, probably Thune or Moran.

LOL! Guys, they're not going to pick one of their 2 most moderate members.

The issue with that is that all 3 are vulnerable in 2016, especially Ayotte, which is a problem because A. Being Majority Leader would make them more vulnerable and B. You don't want someone who can lose soon in the leadership

Portman doesn't seem to be vulnerable at all.

Cornyn moves up to leader.  Burr and Blunt battle it out for whip.

He is and would be even moreso were he to serve as majority/minority leader.  Right now, it depends entirely on who runs against him.
