Well, I wasn't there myself, I just stumbled upon it when updating the wiki.
Anyway there was a party of trolls, the NM-AM, and they controlled the Pacific Council, passing the "Last Constitution" which abolished the entire Pacific government. That happened on June 18, 2013.

Ahh, yes. "It was a dark and stormy night. . ." You get the picture. Tongue

Interesting idea - kind of like a Pacific memorial day.

Piping in from the Midwest here to say I think this is a terrific idea. As one of the people involved in solving the crisis alongside numerous others, we must make sure this never happens again.

I will support this if we remove the paid holiday part. We have too many of those.

Why too many paid holidays? How many are there in the Pacific - Christmas, Independence Day, Thanksgiving and Easter? One more shouldn't be that devastating for the economy...
But if you don't support it other way, I could cancel that clause.

I'll support with or without the holiday, certainly. We'll see what Devin thinks. I hear Pacificans like holidays, though. Wink

Any other comments on this? If not, I'll open a vote, so we can start to discuss the budget.
