$480,000,000,000 at $40,000 each

I could put it in maroon if you prefer, no extra charge. Tongue

We already can print however much we need, the problem is that you cannot force people to take it as the same value afterwards. Tongue

The minimum debate time has expired, I can start a vote if debate ceases for 24 hours and a motion has been offered to go to a vote or I will need to call UC.

I think that combined with the cost and ideological predisposition, this is probably going to be a love it or hate it type thing. So if there are amendments to be offered, I suggest speaking up within the next 24 hours. Wink

I ask unanimous consent to waive the cloture requirement and proceed immediately to a final vote.

How stupid of me not to call the 24 hours myself. Tongue

I could have started this in 30 minutes if I had.

Good thing I am usually on Saturday Mornings.

Seeing no objection, the rules are suspended.

A Final vote is now open on the underlying legislation, Senators please vote Aye, Nay or Abstain.

I would be hessitant to dispense with safety net because there are some people who cannot work and they could be adversely effecting by switching that out for this.

I would prefer to expand the Nixcome in exchange for reductions in the safety net and in lieu of further minimum wage hikes. We could then remove some of the more job restricting policies and hopefully increase employment and reduce dependence through that as well as through education and other policies.

This bill has enough votes to fail, Senators have 24 hours to change their votes.
