There's a few years before the next campaign.

Yes, a 2005/2006 Midterms forum would be more useful. Wink

Because we're political junkies and just can't get enough of a presidential election speculation fix anywhere else.

That's what I love this forum. Everyone is constantly telling me to shut up because all I do is talk politics. But here, thats all anyone does!

It's really here because Dave Leip has this strange fetisch for different boards. Tongue One of Dave's few flaws as a forum keeper (not too much of a flaw of course, luckily for us)

Truth to tell, the campaign for President begins once the returns are complete in a Presidential election.

While watching the returns in groups around the nation, activists and potential candidate are growling about the mistakes of the losing candidate and mumuring, if only X had been the nominee.

Putting together a winning campaign requires a vast amount of time and effort.

Would be candidates criss cross the country supporting candidates in the off year elections in hopes that they can earn i.o.u.s which they can cash in when they run for President.
