Yeah, cowboy Republicanism isn't really all that objectionable compared to most of the alternatives in places like Idaho. By national standards an HP, but I'll give him a could-be-worse FF vote.

Narrow HP. I like his open-mindedness and ability to handle the healthcare and state land decisions, but behind the cowboy is still a lying politician who, after his SSM appeal and support for a Freedom to Discriminate ID House bill, still believes he's not anti-gay.
