It wasn't until a very late age... probably 20 or 21, when I realized that a large percentage of people do not drink regular milk. I always thought it was only hippies or people on a diet who drank non-regular milk. People who were lactose intolerant were as rare to me as albinos. To me, non regular milk tastes terrible, like milk mixed with water. I love me a good hefty fat content in milk. In fact, I'm tempted to try "Channel Island" milk from the UK since that fat content is 5.5% Smiley

Fun fact: I don't like ice cream, but I like putting regular milk in a plastic cup in the freezer, letting the sides freeze and then drinking it.

2% or whole milk -in other words, milk that actually tastes and feels like milk, as opposed to water with white food coloring (i.e. skim milk).

Whole milk for sure.

I've never tried to put milk in the freezer, but it sounds tasty!

I don't drink milk; however, if I have it with cereal, I prefer something other than skim milk.

I like 1% and it's the only kind of milk I'll drink straight or pour in my cereal. I avoid whole milk, which is too heavy and fattening for my taste. My one pet peeve with labelling is how whole milk is often called "Vitamin D Milk". If you actually read the nutrition facts, the only difference among milk variations is the fat and cholesterol content. Every milk variation I've ever seen always has 25% Vitamin D per serving.

Whole milk, or 2% if there's none left at the store.

Skim, I find it odd that so many youngsters drink (chew?) the "hard" stuff.

I always preferred full cream ('whole') milk and was then informed - when in hospital - that it was very good for me. Best medical advice ever.
